Links for my 2 TF/TG work-in-progress games

So, over the past few weeks I've been working on both a scenario for TFJeweled (as mentioned in the previous post).  I already wrote about that earlier, so I'll just paste its link here and say no more:

I'm almost writing an html/javascript based TF/TG Gameshow in which you the player are pitted against an opponent.  Winners walk off with cash, losers get transformed bit by bit every round.  I have written the game so it should be fairly easy to create your own characters, be they player-controlled or computer-controlled opponents.  I've really only tested it much in 1080p widescreen and in Firefox 18.0.1, but from feedback I've heard any semi-recent browser should run it now.

I know a good number of my followers are captioners/writers themselves, so if any of you are interested in creating characters, I will gladly bundle quality submissions with future releases of the game with due credit.  If you are interested in creating a character and do so, please email them to me at !

Still retired, but... custom TFjeweled scenario!

I've recently discovered the transformation-themed "TFjeweled" and, looking through some of the scenarios and how they are written, I was inspired last night to give it a try myself.  For those of you who aren't aware (like me, until a few nights ago,) it's basically a simple "Bejeweled" clone, but while you play a story with a transformation theme is printed out below.  So, for example, you spar in magical duels to transform your opponent before they transform you by playing a minigame.

I've written and coded the first part to an old story that I originally had in mind for a "Choose Your Own Adventure" at the now defunct .  I've decided to try and adapt it to work with TFjeweled.

If you want to play, first off, you'll have to download the Java-based game engine.  You can do it from here: .  I don't remember if you have to register to the forum to download or not.

Then, download my scenario (judoo.xml):

When you get the game running, click on File->Open Scenario and choose judoo.xml from wherever you saved it to.

Again, this is pretty experimental to me and still very much a work in progress.  Don't worry when the game asks you to enter names, that doesn't do anything yet.

If you do end up playing and beating it, I'd appreciate it if you could leave how long it took you to clear all the tiles in a comment.

Essentially Retired

Many of you have asked me by email or in comments if this blog will continue.  I regret to say that for the time being, there are no plans to release new material.  I probably should have written then post a long time ago, but my absence did start out as a temporary hiatus.

One reason for this is hardly new;, the original (and to date, the best, though I have seen at least two decent recreations) made by TFguy closed down, and my blog was only ever a way to collect my work together that I'd already posted there.  Another reason is that I felt as though I was running out of ideas, having written several hundred captions.  Finally, a lot has changed in my life over the past couple years and I don't think I have the time nor privacy, having graduated from university, obtaining a full time job due to start soon, and virtually living with my girlfriend with plans to officially move in together next year.

I may in the future try and return to the 5th roommate series since I did have ideas for several more chapters.  No promises though, sorry.

surprise update: 3 new captions

For those celebrating it, Merry Christmas!  Here is a surprise upload of 3 new (well, they did come from first) captions.  I did it mostly for organizational purposes, but the fact it's a day of giving tomorrow helps.

I also want you to know that I have the stories written out for more captions, so I won't run out and should be able to post a few every month (or whenever the update comes.)

See you next year!

update: 12 new captions

12 new captions in the post below this one.  I haven't been posting as many or as frequently, and my stock is down to 2 captions.  Hopefully I'll get to make more over the holidays.

On a side note, these past few months I've been putting in a lot more of my creativity into the "Choose Your Own Transformation" storylines than for captions or stories.  Because CYOT is collaborative in nature, I can't really post any of that stuff up here without it making any sense.  If you enjoy the stories I've posted on here in the past and want more material like that, you may want to register at and search for the CYOT sections under the name "Judoo."

Since I won't be posting again until next year, have a merry Christmas and a happy new year!

update: many new captions

Sorry for not having posted sooner.  Life is busy and I don't get many chances to post anything up, even over at where I tend to upload 2-3 pieces once a week.  I would post each caption individually, but it just takes up a lot of time and is a bit annoying when there are so many in a single update.

The number of captions I have in stock is getting pretty low and I'm not sure if I will be making any (or hardly any) new ones for the upcoming year.  I have over 400 captions posted up, which I think is a pretty good run over the course of a year and a half.  Thank you very much to everyone who has followed me since I began this blog about eleven months ago, but from here on out I doubt I can provide the quality or volume of captions that I did over the spring and summer.  But don't worry; I'm not going away entirely.  I plan to make and release at least one caption a week at, and will probably post the four or five captions here at the end or beginning of each month.

Update--17 new captions, possible blog updates

Sorry it took so long to get an update up.  Here are all the captions, all seventeen of them, that I missed posting her over the past few weeks.

Blogger seems to have a new mass image upload feature that is quite nice for someone like me who has a lot of images to post in a short time.  Unfortunately, it also means that there are seventeen pictures in a single blog post, so each image does not have its own unique title or tags.  (If you do want to know what each caption is called, hover your cursor over the image and you should see its title down where your browser's progress bar is.)

I'm not sure how I'm going to update the blog in the future.  Chances are I'll go back to the old one-picture-per-post format, and sometime in the future I may go back and bring up this week's update back into the old format.  Leave a comment if you have a preference!
